Leonard Susskind

Leonard Susskind is an American theoretical physicist and one of the key founders of string theory. Born in 1940 in New York, he came from a modest background and later became a professor at Stanford University. He has made major contributions to quantum field theory, string theory, and the holographic principle—one of the most important ideas in modern physics. Susskind is also widely known for his ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for general readers through his popular lecture series and the book *The Theoretical Minimum*.
